and support of telecommunications and switched networks;
integrated networks and network management systems; information
technology applications; tactical and expeditionary communications,
SATCOM systems; advanced technology communication systems
development; common submarine radio room; network engineering
applications; prototype development and testing services
and on-site operational support. Our focus is to design,
integrate. deploy and maintain state-of-the-art Information
warfare, communication and computer capabilities to the warfighter.
Centurum Charleston provides comprehensive assessments that
assist our customers in leveraging revolutionary advances
in information and communication technologies to transform
information warfare system users into a knowledge-superior
and network-centric force. Centurum engineering and technical
services cover a broad range of skills that extend from the
research labs to the end users, wherever they are stationed.
Our personnel skills include systems engineering, design
and analysis, Program Management, onsite systems installation
and technical support, configuration management, human factors
engineering, operational training and training systems development,
Electronic Interactive Technical Manual (EITM) development,
help desk support, antenna repair and refurbishment, EMI,
Computer Aided Design (CAD), and complete integrated logistics
support.
Our growth over the past years has necessitated the transition
to a new facility designed specifically to meet our customers’ needs.
Our facility located near our largest customers based at
the SPAWAR Systems Command, the Naval Weapons Station, and
the Charleston Air Base provides 23,104 square feet of office
spaces, warehouse, secure engineering workspace, limited
access lab area, and a limited access conference room. The
office space consists of individual and team offices, a state-of-the-art,
limited access, and a 483-square foot conference room. Centurum
also maintains a 234 square foot Special Compartmented Information
Facility (SCIF) conference room that meets National Security
Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) section 5-801 requirements
for Secure Engineering Workspace. The warehouse consists
of over 8,000 square feet of conditioned work and storage
space, a 2,479 square foot integration area, a paint booth,
EMI test room, and access to a 400 square foot roof–mounted
pad for the installation and testing of antenna systems.
Centurum San Diego offers a wide range of technical, engineering,
logistics, and program management support capabilities. Our
primary capabilities are AIT (Alteration Installation Team)
services in support of C4ISR shipboard installation and shore
facilities system integration. Additionally, we provide IT,
administrative, warehouse and inventory control and training
support services. Specific capabilities include Test Bed
and Pre-Installation Test and Checkout (PITCO) Facility Support,
Quality Assurance and Testing Support, System Operation and
Verification Test (SOVT) support, ISEA Equipment Support,
equipment fabrication and modification, assembly, testing,
inspection, logistics, drawings, and design services.
Centurum provides systems engineering and program management
services in support of SPAWAR Systems Command. We provide
IPv6 transition support for SPAWAR’s Chief Engineer
which includes transition strategy and test plan development,
systems engineering and design document support, implementation
management, and development of training and tutorial material
through the Navy IPv6 portal. Centurum provides program management
support to both the Ashore and Afloat Installation Departments
at SPAWAR. We provide business process analysis for the Fleet
Modernization Program and centralized engineering and technical
support for new production efforts that encompass C4ISR work.
This support includes planning, horizontal integration, scheduling,
installation, process development, resolution of technical
issues, coordination of procurement with installation site
activation, document and drawing review and analysis, as
well as engineering, logistics planning, and related support
tasks.
Located on Pacific Highway across from Space and Naval Warfare
Systems Command (SPAWAR) and SPAWAR Systems Center San Diego,
Old Town Campus, Centurum is centrally located to serve the
San Diego metropolitan area. Centurum leases a 12,500 square
foot Top-Secret facility that houses offices, a 1000-square
foot lab, a 400-square foot EMI shielded enclosure, and 1100
square feet of warehouse space.
Centurum Tampa provides round-the-clock, worldwide IT communications
support to America’s combatant warfighters. In this
effort, Centurum Tampa supports total start-to-finish network-centric
information technology solutions. We provide superb technical
personnel, the majority of whom initially honed their skills
in military technical positions, who are armed with leading
edge technology skills and tool kits focused on the task
at hand, be it an enterprise network installation design
or last-mile engineering to a single classified user via
a network node. Our Voice/Video/Data skill sets include fiber,
copper, fixed, or mobile radio frequency, and both military
and commercial satellite system solutions (including provision
of commercial bandwidth). Centurum Tampa’s primary
customers are the joint warfighting commands headquartered
at MacDill AFB: USSOCOM and USCENTCOM. We know the territory,
the people and the telecommunications critical mission support
functions of these high-operations tempo warfighting commands.
Under enterprise subcontracts within both commands, Centurum
provides classified and unclassified processing, and interfaces
combat units with rear echelon facilities and support activities
requiring unique approaches to leverage effectiveness with
affordability and timeliness. Our enterprise IT teams support
the planning, management, operation, and maintenance of all
garrison and deployed Wide Area Networks (WAN), Metropolitan
Area Networks (MAN), Local Area Networks (LAN), and the communication
and network infrastructures for data, voice, and video. Additionally,
Centurum supports development, integration, testing, training,
and customer support for all desktops, portable computing
devices, applications, messaging systems, databases, and
web services used by Special Operations Forces (SOF). Centurum
experts support information assurance, transmission, and
communication security requirements, requirements management,
configuration management, hardware maintenance, and disaster
recovery. Centurum Tampa was also on the ground floor of
the integration program to produce 45 deployable SOF TACLAN
(tactical network) systems and conducted all TACLAN New Equipment
Training.
Centurum Chesapeake’s primary business focus is on
System Engineering Integration and Testing (SEI&T) of
communications and electronics systems for government agencies
and commercial customers. Within the federal government,
our primary customer is the U.S. Navy, specifically the SPAWARSYSCEN
field activities and a growing presence with Joint Military
Commands and other Agencies. Chesapeake tasking and contract
project assignments take personnel to all regions of the
world. We are currently, or have recently worked and supported
electrical/electronic system projects throughout Europe and
the Middle East. Also, we have supported the U.S. Department
of State in the installation and integration of Emergency
Evacuation Communication Systems in over 200 U.S. Embassy
and U.S. Consulate facilities worldwide. Chesapeake personnel
support our customers throughout the Continental United States,
specifically Charleston, SC, Norfolk, VA, Washington, DC,
San Diego, CA, and Tampa, FL.
Chesapeake has completed electrical and electronic system
installations from requirements analysis through engineering
design, integration, installation, operational testing, as
well as follow-on training, equipment maintenance, and logistics
support. We provide turnkey support services for a variety
of Satellite Communications Systems to include LF, HF, VHF,
UHF, SHF, and EHF ashore and afloat. As technology has progressed
into the information age, Centurum has moved strongly into
many information technology systems, networking, and voice,
data, and video telecommunications engineering projects.
Centurum Chesapeake takes pride in our ability to provide
rapid response to our customers worldwide. At a moment’s
notice we are able to deploy our workforce to almost anywhere
in the world. Whether it is on a local communications facility
or one located halfway across the globe or riding on a ship

Centurum’s National Capital Region Operations provide
technical and systems engineering, information and knowledge
management, surveys and marketing, analysis and reporting,
and business process management services to Defense, Homeland
and National Security Agencies, the Congress and commercial
partners. We assist the Department of Defense in its international
programs, including developing and negotiating Foreign Military
Sales and Armaments Cooperation international agreements
and planning and tracking budgets and program management
processes. We support Public Affairs and History requirements
and plan and conduct all aspects of Defense conferences and
other events. We also support Command, Control, Communications,
Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance
(C4ISR); Signals Intelligence (SIGINT); Cryptology; Information
Operations; Intelligence Analysis; and Information Assurance.
Centurum provides technical support ranging from technical
Help Desk call center support to complex Unix and Infrastructure
engineering solutions. Our certified engineers are skilled
in support of Microsoft, Novell, Unix and Linux operating
systems as well as a wide range of hardware and enterprise
infrastructure equipment.
