| In 2003, three independent
companies came together under one umbrella to show our commitment
to servicing our customer—the federal government—to
our highest potential.
In October 2004, we merged these three affiliated companies
to form . Centurum
combines the talents of TDS Incorporated, TECHPLAN Corporation,
and Klein and Stump Incorporated into an organization uniquely
capable of providing the U.S. Department of Defense and other
federal agencies with IT services to meet the government’s
business needs and support our warfighters every step of the
way.
Each company brings a unique history and expertise to the
table. Together, we leverage the strengths of each to provide
more diverse customer support in specialized disciplines beyond
those offered by any one company. Exceeding customer's expectations
is a Centurum hallmark that has deep roots in the foundation
of each of our three original companies.
Since 1969, TECHPLAN Corporation has provided quality systems integration and
management solutions to the government and private sectors. TECHPLAN professionals
have developed and installed numerous systems and trained clients in using,
maintaining, and upgrading those systems, and developed and implemented innovative
business processes that implement those systems efficiently. .
TDS was founded in 1974 to provide engineering, information technology, technical
support, and telecommunication services to the Department of Defense and other
federal agencies. By focusing on core competencies, dependable performance,
and customer satisfaction, we expanded our client base to include state and
local governments and the commercial sector.
Klein and Stump Incorporated (KSI) was founded in 1988 by Jerry Stump and the late Bob Klein, both U.S. Navy veteran Cryptologists. KSI’s
continuing focus on Information Operations and Knowledge Management is based
upon the conviction that the processes and technologies associated with these
areas are cornerstones of the Information Age.
