Position: Technical Analyst - Configuration Manager (CH-08-07)
Location: Charleston, SC

Duties of Position:

The candidate will provide Configuration Management Support to the Life Cycle Support Department. 
Their duties will include:

  • Developing configuration management plans.
  • Using CMPro to: 1) assist with the creation and maintenance of drawings and documentation; 2) route documents for review and approval; and 3) track Action Items.
  • Establishing and maintaining a records documentation repository for system drawings, technical manuals, COTS manuals, Notices of Revisions (NOR), and other applicable guides and procedures.
  • Assist with identifying and maintaining Software Configurations
  • Developing inputs for Engineering Change Proposals (ECP), associated documentation, and Stock Lists.

Preparing and tracking Modification Instructions.

Required Education, Training, and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Business or a related field is preferred; suitable equivalent or four years specific relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Required Skills / Experience
    • Two years Configuration Management experience preferred.
    • Develop, review, and maintain Configuration Management Plans that comply with military requirements.
    • Have familiarity and recent experience with Marine Corps Programs; Configuration Management Professional (CMPro); Configuration Management Accounting System (CMAS); and Open Architectural Retrieval System (OARS ).
  • Desired Skills / Experience
    • Prior military experience
    • Familiar with Microsoft software programs.
    • Ability to read Marine Corps baseline Drawings.

Remarks:

Travel to various locations may be required.
