Configuration Management Analyst

Location: Charleston, SC

Duties of Position:

The candidate will provide configuration management (CM) support for SPAWAR programs. Typical duties of the position will include:
• Develop, review, and maintain CM Plans
• Develop, review, and maintain Local Configuration Control Board (LCCB) charters
• Establish and maintain CM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Establish and maintain configuration hardware and software baselines
• Establish a documentation repository to track and maintain records for system drawings, technical manuals, Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) manuals, Notices of Revisions (NORs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Deviations and Waivers, and all other CDRLs
• Develop Configuration Status Accounting Reports (CSARs)
• Assist with Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs)
• Provide PCA action item tracking and adjudication
• Participate in Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, LCCBs, and other project meetings
• Perform life cycle support for software development

Required Education, Training, and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma required; advanced training / college degree preferred
• Documented strong hands-on CM experience
• Minimum of 4 years of directly-related experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) agencies

Desired Qualifications and Certifications/experience in the following areas:

• CM Certification
• Database entry and query skills
• Strong background in English grammar and Quality Assurance analysis
Requires strong oral and written communication skills. Candidate must be experienced and comfortable working with MS Office Products. Some travel may be required.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
