Position: Production Manager (SD-11-07)
Location: San Diego, CA

Duties of Position:

Responsible for the direction of production plans and schedules needed to meet delivery requirements. Through subordinate supervisors, manages and coordinates activities of a number of sections, including planning, scheduling, expediting and dispatching. Analyzes daily production reports and advises management of anticipated output problems such as over shipments, shortages, engineering changes, equipment failure and cancellation of orders. May conduct special studies relating to the introduction of new products to effect cost reduction and yield improvements.

An AA degree Industrial Design, business management, information systems, computer science or other related field and four years experience in production control and planning including supervision.

Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
