IRM/IT Strategy and Architecture Project Mgr

Key member of the contractor team tasked to research, develop, and maintain various command enterprise architectures products including architecture operational, system, and technical components. Produces Combatant Command architectures which fully address joint/coalition mission threads (operational facilities, tasks, billets, and processes) and current and future C2, C4, ISR, logistics, and telemedicine capabilities.
Specialized Experience: 1. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing USCENTCOM architectures, business/warfighting processes, and information technology (IT) to identify mission capability gaps, overlaps, and shortfalls; determines and recommends architectural, IT, or process solutions. 2. Researches and develops other enterprise and C4ISR documents and plans as required. 3. Understands and uses the DOD Architecture Framework and other key DOD architecture and strategic planning instructions. 4. Forward deploys to the USCENTCOM AOR, as required, to collect data and conduct CCJ6 strategic planning. 5. Reviews Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) documents, makes recommendations, and develops Command responses to the Joint Staff or OSD Staff. 6. Follows major DOD C4/IT programs to identify future technology and Joint Force capabilities and potential architectural and capability impacts for USCENTCOM. 7. Conducts architecture tool analysis and recommends tools for USCENTCOM use. 8. Understands architecture tool capabilities and functioning and employs tools such as the Joint Battle Management Command and Control (JBMC2) Capabilities Mapping Environment (JCME), SLATE/Team Center, MS Visio, and NetViz. Understands and uses the DOD Architecture Repository System. 9. Participates in DOD Enterprise Architecture Conferences, Theater/Component Communications Conferences, and C4ISR and Architecture Working Groups. 10. Attends DOD, Joint Staff, and Combatant Command meetings as required. 11. Develops and maintains effective working relationships with the USCENTCOM Staff and counterparts at OASD (NII), Joint Staff, Components, and inter agencies. 12. Works contractor issues and statements of work as required.
5+ years experience in producing architectures, Understands Joint Task Force (JTF), Joint, combined/coalition operations, Proficiency with Microsoft Project & Office applications as well as using an architecture tool, Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
In addition, at a minimum, candidate must have: 1. Five years experience in producing architectures. 2. Ability to work independently with little direction and guidance. 3. Experience in providing status reports and products to senior management and customers. 4. Experience with using an architecture tool and using an the Microsoft Office Suite of software with particular emphasis on Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word and the ability to produce complex and detailed reports and presentation using these tools. 5. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to develop and present oral presentations to senior management and customer representatives. 6. Ability to use Microsoft Project for developing, planning and tracking of a project. 7. Candidate must possess a DoD security clearance.
Project Management experience. Prepares Power Point, Word, Excel, Acrobat files in the development of architecture renderings.
