South Carolina Operations Achieves Facility-wide CMMI Maturity Level 2

On August 14, 2009, the Centurum South Caroline Operations (SC Ops) Division completed a successful Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Capability Maturity Model - Integration (CMMI) Standardized CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI A) appraisal of their entire SC Ops facility. During the SCAMPI A appraisal (Appraisal #13262), the most rigorous form of appraisal under the SEI CMMI program, the SC Ops activities were rated at Capability Level 2 (CL-2) in the Project Management, Project Monitoring and Control, Supplier Agreement Management, Requirements Management, Process and Product Quality Assurance, Configuration Management, and Measurement and Analysis Process Areas. Based upon the achievement of CL-2 in all of the evaluated Process Areas, the SEI approved on September 17, 2009 the certification of the entire Centurum SC Ops facility at CMMI Maturity Level 2.
