- Serve as a TacMobile Acoustic Support System (TacMASS) technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) - Support system HW/SW assessments, evaluations, upgrades and builds; integration with other subsystems; and all system testing efforts - Review and update technical documentation to include: Operations and Maintenance Manuals, drawing packages, System Operational and Verification Test’s (SOVT’s), Field Change Bulletins (FCB’s), Change Requests (CR’s), Defects, Pre-Installation Test and Check-Out (PITCO) - Support monthly Information Assurance (IA) software testing and validation - Develop training materials and provide local and on-site system user training - Update and maintain technical and program acquisition documents in government databases - Provide meeting support to ensure coordination with related program offices - Interface with stakeholders to solve technical challenges - Communicate potential risks to cost, schedule, and performance to government lead
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Aircrewman Operator (Acoustic) conducting systems and sensor data analysis - Ability and knowledge to conduct MPRA Mission Reconstructions to support system performance evaluations and software development efforts - Individual must maintain eligibility for a DOD SECRET security clearance
This position requires a Secret US DoD security clearance.
- Certification as a Navy Instructor - Experience with Maritime Patrol Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) Non-acoustic and Multi-Static Active operations. - Experience in conducting MPRA mission reconstructions - Knowledge of Information Technology systems and network configurations
