The candidate will be responsible for development of business opportunities. Responsible for identifying and qualifying business opportunities that align with Division goals. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive relationships having verifiable connections with Navy, Marine, and Army customers and corporate peers throughout the Charleston, SC area. Display competent and confident leadership with an ability to effectively develop and execute well-designed and integrated capture plans following established internal gates and using standard tools and processes, with emphasis on win strategies, themes, value propositions and teaming. Manage pipeline reviews, assess various available market information sources to identify, organize and pursue business development opportunities. Participates in development of responses to solicitations and RFPs. After a win, responsible for managing C5ISR projects for Naval Information Warfare Command (NIWC) Atlantic. Responsible for staffing, budgeting and cost management, risk management and technical leadership to ensure project success. Provides technical leadership, guidance and training to employees. Provides direct management, oversight and tracking for projects and task work under his/her direct purview. Coordinates with local contracting and financial offices to investigate and resolve task management problems and issues. Maintains liaison and interface with customers and other Centurum Management.
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, math, physics or related scientific discipline, Mathematics, or Management Information Systems from an accredited university: or Bachelor of Science or Arts in Business Administration from an accredited university. Shall have a minimum of (1) of the following Project Management Certifications: PMP: Project Management Professional. CAPM: Certified Associate in Project Management CSM: Certified ScrumMaster. Minimum of 10 years of experience developing business opportunities. Candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; be able to effectively multi-task, prioritize, and provide quick, accurate responses to data calls from multiple levels of the project support community. Possess strong leadership and team management experience, excellent written and oral communication skills and be focused on customer support/satisfaction. Demonstrate an ability to develop and maintain positive relationships, and possess verifiable connections with Navy, Marine, and Army customers and corporate peers throughout the Charleston, SC area.
