Duties of Position

THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD – WORK EXPECTED TO BEGIN IN JANUARY 2021 Duties will be in support of NIWC, Atlantic.

Required Skills & Experience

Six (6) years of experience, to include: Software Design, Development, and Test and Evaluation. Four (4) years of programming experience with Perl, Python, R, or Java programming languages. Three (3) years of experience, to include: database development, web application development, automation scripting, using Integrated Development Environment tools, etc. Experience may be achieved simultaneously. High School diploma or GED. Minimum required CompTIA Security+ and any Operating System Certification. Completed the following certifications within one and a half year after assuming duties: Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform/language specific certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Red Hat Certified Administrator, Certified Associate in Python Programming (PCAP), Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer (OCPJP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), etc.).

This position requires a Secret US DoD security clearance.
