Duties of Position

Performs Configuration Management (CM) processes to support depot operations. Facilitates orderly management of system information and system changes necessary to revise capability; improve performance, reliability, and maintainability; extend life; reduce cost; reduce risk and liability; and correct defects. Reviews/updates technical documentation and related work products required to support depot operatios. Develops, prepares, and updates CM plans, artifact baselines, and configuration status accounting records. Supports Depot efforts to establish and maintain equipment/system locator records in inventory database or designated depository that provides part number, location, serial number of item, configuration status, and traceability. Supports Depot efforts to establish computer program version configuration item identification. Ensures all CM related documentation is tracked and inventoried. Participates in preparations for, conduct of, and documentation of Depot Configuration Control Board (CCB). Performs as CCB secretary for all joint contractor/government teams performing required configuration audits for ongoing developments and sustained activities. Performs logistics tasks and other special projects as required.

Required Skills & Experience

5 yrs recent C4ISR or other relevant experience.

This position requires a Secret US DoD security clearance.

Preferred Skills

Quality Management System (QMS) experience that is compatible with ISO 9001:2008.
