Qualified candidate will provide administrative support to the Human Resources & Financial Departments. • Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation while maintaining confidentiality. • Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately. • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management. • Posting new job requisitions on the company website as well as other posting outlets. • Collect and track applicant resumes in compliance with Affirmative Action Program (AAP) guidelines. • Assist in maintaining legal compliance by monitoring applicable federal and state requirements. • Prepare and coordinate travel to include booking and processing travel expense reports. • Assist with the preparation of monthly status reports by preparing MSR templates, compiling and analyzing contract, program, and financial data using various database programs. • Prepare technical and status reports for on-time delivery to Government customers. • Supports data collection and reporting activities • Backup assistance in creating and approving purchase orders (PO) for processing • Backup assistance with reception duties, switchboard telephone; greet visitors and implement visitor control by assigning appropriate badges. • Coordinate and arrange meetings, prepare agendas, reserve conference rooms and prepare facilities. Scan, make copies and assemble correspondence or other printed materials. • General office assistance as needed for typing, filing and faxing. • Performs other duties as assigned by management
• 2 years current or other relevant experience supporting Human Resources office and executive staff with document preparation and presentations, scheduling, meetings support, and maintaining business office standards and protocols. • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy. • Punctual, reliable and detail oriented with excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills. • Ability to accept tasking form multiple personnel and sources while being flexible, adaptable and demonstrating an ability to problem solve. • Positive, professional attitude and presence with the ability to interface effectively with all levels of office, technical and management personnel both inside and outside of the organization. • Additional requirements include experience in MS Office Suite; Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point, and Internet browser applications.
This position requires a Secret US DoD security clearance.
• Human resources: 2 years (Preferred) • Experience with Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA), Short & Long-Term Disability (STD & LTD), Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL), Paid Family Leave (PFL), Family Medical Leave (FML), Workers Compensation and OSHA. • Experience using Costpoint and Deltek a plus. • Typing Speed 60 WPM
Desired, Associates or higher in Business Management or Accredited Civilian Business School. Completion of an appropriate Military "A" school in Personnel Management may be substituted for the Associates or Business School requirement.
