The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of a newly-awarded Responsive Strategic Sourcing for Services (RS3) contract awarded by the US Army out of Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG) in Edgewood, MD. Typical duties will include working closely with the Centurum Corporate VP for Business Development to identify APG component commands’ and other Federal agencies’ requirements that can be placed on the new contract; acting as the principal interface between Centurum and the Government; assessing Government-issued RS3 Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Statements of Objectives (SOOs)/Performance Work Statements (PWS’); determining/defining scope of work and resource requirements, to include interviewing, vetting, and hiring new employees and establishing appropriate teaming arrangements; and developing and/or reviewing Centurum proposals developed under the RS3 contract. The candidate will also be responsible for managing and directing project personnel to ensure contract objectives and performance standards are satisfied; preparing and submitting contract-related reports; and establishing, tracking and maintaining metrics related to the new contract.
BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or the Physical Sciences. 10 or more years of experience managing design and developmental projects, to include at least five (5) years supervising Federal C4ISR projects. Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the Defense FAR (DFAR) Supplement, the Defense Logistics Manual, the Army FAR Supplement, and basic contracting law. Recent and hands-on knowledge and experience related to organizational processes, risk management, quality processes and management, and schedule and cost control. The ideal candidate will have recent experience working with APG and RDECOM organizations. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance to AT LEAST a SECRET level.
This position requires a Secret US DoD security clearance.
