Duties of Position

Provide support to the U.S. Army Communication-Electronics Command's (CECOM) Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) providing global C4ISR logistics support to the WARFIGHTER, and coalition forces by providing rapid acquisition, maintenance, production, fielding, new equipment training, operation and sustainment of CECOM equipment. Provide guidance for developing Statements of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) for Provisioning {Pre-Procurement Screening, Provisioning Parts List (PPL), Design Change Notice (DCN), Engineering Data for Provisioning (EDFP), Repair Parts and Special Tools List(RPSTL) and Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC). Utilize the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP), equivalent to a SAP ERP system, to process a Provisioning Parts List (PPL) to a Provisioning Bill of Material (PBOM). Sustain and update the PBOM using different transactions in the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP). Validate and ensure that system configurations, identified by the Bill of Materials (BOM), align with maintenance concepts. Load and maintain an accurate Provisioning Parts List (PPL), cataloging new parts and reviewing relevant sectors within the Material Master, Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS) Webflis and/or E-Cataloging (ECAT). Provides technical guidance for the coordination of provisioning planning within the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) or program schedule as defined by the Program Manager (PM) or Integrated Logistics Service Center (ILSC) weapon system representative. Understand and verify a Provisioning Parts List (PPL) using the technical data package (TDP) for a top down break down approach. Ability to interpret technical drawings. Working knowledge of the requirements associated with the Data Call, Guidance Conference, In Process Reviews (IPRs)/Provisioning Conference. Ability to catalog materials using a National Stock Number (NSN) and to obtain the different types (Supply Support Request (SSRs), Command Managed). Understanding a Provisioning Parts List (PPL) and all the required data elements. Knowledge of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) approval process, and their documentation via Design Change Notice (DCN), and added to the Provisioning Parts List (PPL) and subsequently the Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL). Ability to understand the Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC) and how that drives the development of the Provisioning Parts List (PPL) and Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL).

Required Skills & Experience

Prior military service in the U.S. Army who served as an E-7 or E-8 plus experience related to Logistical/Procurement support for electronics and communications equipment. Demonstrated experience with engineering evaluation, budget development and projections, management oversight of QA processes, procedures and documentation. Experience with DoD and government contracting procurement procedures. Experience creating, updating, and maintain inventory databases. Completion of Defense Acquisition University or equivalent preferred. This position requires a Secret US DoD security clearance.
