Network Operations Watch Officer - Monitor and support management of issues related to the network; including investigating, reporting and tracking of any unscheduled network outages; coordinate planned service outages between all affected groups on all network tiers; and the maintenance of the tools required to monitor the network. Provide, integrate, manage and support Network Operations while meeting the requirements, policies and standards as established by USFOR-A and JNCC-A military leadership. Conduct network outage monitoring on Tier 0, 1, 2 networks and alert parties responsible for troubleshooting, gathering updates, and producing reports for situational awareness of network status. Conduct bandwidth utilization, packet loss, link connectivity and STIG analysis when requested by military personnel. Provide recommendations for Quality-of- Service (QoS) and load balancing
At least one (1) year experience with monitoring and managing networks. At least one (1) year experience collectively with SolarWinds, Spectrum, SNMPc, and INMS Neuralstar. Maintain DoD 8570.1-M compliance for IAT Level II with a relevant computing environment certificate. MCSA, CCNP, ITIL, PMP, CCNA, CCNP and virtual machine certifications are all considered relevant computing environment certificates.
This position requires a Secret US DoD security clearance.
