Personnel will be tasked with supporting the following systems: • AN/WSC-9A(V)3 • AN/BSC-3(V)3 • AN/USC-38(V)2 • AN/USC-69(V)2 (FLV) • NSLC-A equipment • NSLC-A antennas • AN/WSC-6C(V)9
Technical Training in a relevant Technical/Engineering Field, or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, and/or Class A/B/C military school in electronics and/or communications and/or OEM NMT system specific training. Minimum of eight (8) years of hands-on experience with SATCOM Communication Systems listed above. Minimum of six (6) years of hands-on experience with NMT systems. Extensive experience with each of the following is required: Physical and function level understanding of all variants of NMT; Diagnostic and troubleshooting functions; Current NMT variants and their installations; Current SW variants loading procedures and management; Use of test equipment for troubleshooting; Technical documentation and troubleshooting aids; End-to-end architecture; Mentoring and/or training junior engineers/technicians. Experience must include successful completion of at least two (2) SOVTs on any NMT variant (surface and submarine vessels) or International Partners Vessels (IPV) of Allied Nations and/or DOD OCONUS Teleports and Providing on-board technical assistance for three (3) CASREPS on any NMT variant.
This position requires a Secret US DoD security clearance.
