Personnel will be tasked with supporting the following systems: • AN/WSC-9A(V)3 • AN/BSC-3(V)3 • AN/USC-38(V)2 • AN/USC-69(V)2 (FLV) • NSLC-A equipment • NSLC-A antennas • AN/WSC-6C(V)9
Technical Training in a relevant Technical/Engineering Field, or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, and/or Class A/B/C military school in electronics and/or communications and/or OEM CBSP system specific training. Minimum of eight (8) years of hands-on experience with SATCOM Communication Systems listed above. Requires extensive experience with information systems related to RF communications specifically with Commercial Broadband Satellite Program (CBSP) for Navy Fleet to include at least (5) years of hands-on experience with CBSP systems. Must have a working knowledge of all CBSP shipboard communication systems and shore architecture including Commercial Teleports and Navy Designated Points of Presence. Hands-on experience with proper distribution of Frequency Matrix’s (FM) and General Schedule of Events (GSOE) to operational commands and extensive experience with the following: •Provide operational coordination of fleet bandwidth between Naval Network Warfare Command (NETWARCOM) and satellite providers •Act as the primary technical point of contact to resolve issues with leased space and terrestrial services •Conduct audits of GFE assets installed at commercial teleports •Conduct annual inspections of commercial teleports to ensure they continually meet contract requirements •Review and resolve incidences associated with mission activations/operations
