Personnel will be tasked with supporting the following systems: • AN/WSC-9A(V)3 • AN/BSC-3(V)3 • AN/USC-38(V)2 • AN/USC-69(V)2 (FLV) • NSLC-A equipment • NSLC-A antennas • AN/WSC-6C(V)9
Technical Training in a relevant Technical/Engineering Field, or Formal electronics training from: Technical School, and/or Class A or B military school in electronics and/or communications and/or OEM WSC-6 system specific training. Minimum of eight (8) years of hands-on experience with SATCOM Communication Systems listed above. Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience with WSC-6 systems. This includes extensive experience with each of the following: • physical and function level understanding of all variants of WSC-6 • diagnostic and troubleshooting functions • current WSC-6 variants and their installations • current SW variants loading procedures and management • use of test equipment for troubleshooting • technical documentation and troubleshooting aids • end-to-end architecture • mentoring and/or training junior engineers/technicians. Experience must include successful completion of two (2) SOVTs on any AN/WCS-6 variant, and provided on-board technical assistance for 3 CASREPS on current AN/WSC-6 variants (One (1) must be a WSC-6 V9G and one (1) must be a AN/WSC-5A(V)7).
