Provide support to Division’s Contract and Delivery Order (DO) proposal processes. Individual will work independently and/or with Project Lead(s) to develop the proposal outline/draft documents based upon Government Requests for Proposal (RFPs). They will research corporate experience database(s), best of breed material, and input from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to refine draft documents to ensure compliance with scope, format, content, and continuity of products, as required. Work products will be submitted to the Division technical authority (TA) for review/comments, after which the individual will rewrite/finalize the documents and submit them to Program Managers for final review. Additional Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Work with graphics/graphic designers to produce graphics/illustrations. • Conduct interviews with SMEs/Technical Staff to develop compliant corporate experience documents. • Manage production schedules and create and institute Proposal QA processes. • Edit drafts for format, clarity and overall cohesiveness. • Ensure documents meet editorial and Government specifications and adhere to identified standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format and style. • Meet successfully tight turn-around schedules and deadlines.
• Must be an expert Technical Writer with a minimum of 3 years directly-related experience • Must be able to work concurrently on more than one proposal. • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products. • Must have SharePoint experience • Must have solid understanding of the Government proposal process.
• Current Secret security clearance. • The individual must be a team player, with excellent communication skills, who can work in a collaborative and sometimes stressful environment.
